Booking Policy
How to Book
Submit your event details, including your event date, location, estimated guest count, and services requested. We will provide a personalized quote based on your event requirements, including any applicable travel fee.
No payment is required when you submit a quote request. Happy Faces LA will confirm availability and send your official quote. If an Availability Hold is offered, a 20% retainer may be authorized only after quote review. Your booking is not confirmed until Happy Faces LA confirms artist availability and sends confirmation. The remaining balance is due before services begin on the day of your event.
There is no online payment or checkout at the quote submission stage.
Travel Fees
Serving Los Angeles and nearby areas. Share your event city or ZIP code for availability.
- 0–20 miles: No travel fee.
- More than 20 through 40 miles: $25 flat travel fee.
- More than 40 through 60 miles: $50 flat travel fee; manual booking approval is required.
- More than 60 miles: Custom quote required; manual approval is required.
Travel distance is measured as a one-way distance from our service origin. The exact travel fee will be disclosed as a separate labeled line item before any retainer is requested. Our service origin is not publicly disclosed.
Overtime
Additional time may be available if the artist's schedule allows. Overtime must be requested and approved before the scheduled end time.
If approved, overtime is added to the final balance based on the services being provided and the additional time requested.
Parking & Setup
Client is responsible for providing safe, nearby parking or covering required parking fees.
Please plan for a clean setup area with enough space for the artist, supplies, and guests. Difficult parking, valet-only locations, gated access, stairs, or long walking distances may affect setup time and should be shared before booking.
Safety and Product Standards
Happy Faces LA uses professional-grade face and body art products selected for use in entertainment settings. We do not represent our products as hypoallergenic or as FDA-approved for all skin types; product selection is based on professional practice and artist judgment. Clients with known skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions should notify us before the event begins.
Happy Faces LA may photograph or record services for portfolio and promotional use. If you do not consent to photography or recording, please let us know before your event begins.
School, Corporate, and Institutional Events
School events, corporate gatherings, and institutional or community events are available by custom quote only. Pricing, availability, and services depend on event scale, location, and specific requirements. Contact us to discuss your event and receive a customized proposal.
